Richard Golomb Elected Secretary of AAJ

Golomb • Spirt P.C.is proud to announce that Richard Golomb, the managing shareholder and founding partner of the firm, was recently elected Secretary of the American Association for Justice (AAJ)—formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA). This organization is comprised of 38,000 trial attorneys from across the globe whose mission is to seek justice for all.

Mr. Golomb’s election puts him in line to serve as AAJ’s President in 2012, which would make him the first President of AAJ from Pennsylvania since David Shrager’s appointment in 1983. “To serve as the first officer, and hopefully President, of ATLA/AAJ since [David Shrager] served 25 years ago, is an honor and pleasure,” Mr. Golomb states. His peers have explained that Golomb has a “quiet leadership style.”

He is also the past president of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, a board member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, a member of the AAJ Board of Governors, and a member of the Executive Committee for AAJ. He also serves as a trustee of the Civil Justice Foundation and Roscoe Pound Institute, as well as AAJ’s delegate to the Civil Trial Bar Roundtable for the National Center for State Courts.
